पत्रकारांसाठी स्वतंत्र आर्थिक विकास महामंडळ स्थापन करावे

प्रदेशाध्यक्ष वसंत मुंडे यांची सरकारकडे मागणी.

छ. संभाजीनगर (औरंगाबाद),दि 13(डि-24 न्यूज) पत्रकारांच्या सर्वांगीण विकासासाठी स्वतंत्र आर्थिक विकास महामंडळ स्थापन करून त्या मार्फत पत्रकारांना मानधन व इतर सवलती द्याव्यात, अशी मागणी महाराष्ट्र राज्य पत्रकार संघाचे प्रदेशाध्यक्ष वसंत मुंडे यांनी केली. महाराष्ट्र राज्य पत्रकार संघाच्या वतीने आयोजित दिक्षाभूमी ते मंत्रालय या पत्रकार संवाद यात्रेच्या दुसऱ्या टप्प्याच्या शुभारंभ प्रसंगी आयोजित पत्रकार परिषदेत ते बोलत होते.

पत्रकार संघाचे प्रदेश सरचिटणीस डॉ. विश्वास आरोटे, मराठवाडा विभागीय अध्यक्ष वैभव स्वामी, छत्रपती संभाजीनगरचे जिल्हाध्यक्ष डॉ. प्रभू गोरे, शहराध्यक्ष अनिल सावंत आदी मान्यवर यावेळी व्यासपीठावर उपस्थित होते.

पत्रकारांसाठी असलेल्या बाळशास्त्री जांभेकर निवृत्ती योजनेतील जाचक अटी रद्द करून शासनाच्या घोषणेप्रमाणे प्रति महिना 20 हजार रुपये मानधन देण्यात यावे, पत्रकार संरक्षण कायद्याची स्थानिक पातळीवर अंमलबजावणी करण्यासाठी पोलीस प्रशासनाला स्वतंत्र आदेश द्यावेत, पत्रकारांना व त्यांच्या कुटुंबीयांना मोफत आरोग्य उपचार आणि विमा कवच द्यावे, अधीस्वीकृती पत्रिका पत्रकारांना मिळावी यासाठी प्रक्रिया सुलभ करावी तसेच ग्रामीण भागातील पत्रकारांसाठी वेतन पावतीची अट रद्द करावी कारण बहुतांश पत्रकार मानधनावर काम करतात. राज्यात पत्रकारांसाठी शासकीय जमीन म्हाडाला देऊन जिल्हा व तालुका स्तरावर स्वतंत्र घरकुल योजना राबवावी, अधीस्वीकृती समितीवर कामगार कायदा अंतर्गत नोंद असलेल्या संघटनांनाच प्रतिनिधित्व देण्यात यावे, शासनाच्या राज्य, जिल्हा, तालुकास्तरीय शासकीय समित्यांवर पत्रकारांच्या एका प्रतिनिधीला संधी देण्यात यावी, भारतीय राज्यघटनेतील तरतुदी प्रमाणे राष्ट्रपती नियुक्त राज्यसभेत आणि राज्यपाल नियुक्त विधान परिषदेत पत्रकारांमधून प्रतिनिधित्व देण्यात यावे, अधीक्षकृती धारक पत्रकारांना रेल्वे, विमान, स्लीपर कोच व बस प्रवासात सवलत मिळावी, अधीस्वीकृती धारक पत्रकारांच्या वाहनांना महामार्गावर टोलमाफी द्यावी, पत्रकारांच्या पाल्यांना उच्च व परदेशी शिक्षणासाठी विशेष सवलत देण्यात यावी, शासकीय जाहिरातीच्या दरात महागाईच्या तुलनेत दर 2 वर्षांनी वाढ करावी. मतदार संघ पुनर्रचनेत शिक्षक पदवीधर यांच्याप्रमाणे पत्रकारांसाठी स्वतंत्र मतदारसंघ निर्माण करावा अशा मागण्या यावेळी करण्यात आल्या.

या पत्रकार परिषदेनंतर पत्रकारांनी उपस्थित केलेला विविध प्रश्नांना वसंत मुंडे यांनी समर्पक उत्तरे देऊन पत्रकारांच्या विविध शंकांचे निरसन केले.

A separate economic development corporation should be established for journalists- Vasant Munde 

 Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar(Aurangabad),Aug 13 State President of Maharashtra State Journalist Union Vasant Munde on Tuesday demanded that an independent economic development corporation should be established for the all-round development of journalists and should be given remuneration and other concessions through it. 

 He was speaking at a press conference organized by the Maharashtra State Journalists Association on the occasion of the launch of the second phase of the Dikshabhumi to Mantralaya Journalist Dialogue Yatra.

 Regional General Secretary of Journalists Union Dr. Vishwas Arote, Marathwada Divisional President Vaibhav Swamy, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar District President Dr. Prabhu Gore, City President Anil Sawant and other dignitaries were present on the platform on this occasion.

 The oppressive conditions of the Balshastri Jambhekar retirement scheme for journalists should be canceled and a salary of Rs 20 thousand per month should be given as announced by the government, separate orders should be given to the police administration to implement the Journalists Protection Act at the local level, free health treatment and insurance cover should be provided to journalists and their families, and approved newspapers should be given to journalists.  

For this, the process should be simplified and the condition of salary receipt should be abolished for journalists in rural areas as most of the journalists work on salary.

  Government land for journalists should be given to MHADA and a separate Gharkul scheme should be implemented at the district and taluka level in the state, only organizations registered under the Labor Act should be represented on the recognition committee, a representative of journalists should be given an opportunity on the state, district and taluka level government committees of the government. 

 Journalists should be represented in the Legislative Council appointed by the Governor, Journalists with superintendent letters should get concessions in train, air, sleeper coach and bus travel.

Toll exemption should be given to vehicles of acridatited journalists on highways, children of journalists should be given special concessions for higher and foreign education, government advertisement rates should be increased every 2 years in line with inflation among others demands were made at this time.

 A separate constituency should be created for journalists like teacher graduates in the constituency restructuring,added Munde .
